THE FACTORY

All our products showcase nature’s work and that of human hands, giving each piece a unique character. At every stage of their production – sanding, brushing, sandblasting and ageing – we can feel the material living.

L’Esprit du Bois also makes coloured and clear wood finishes using pigmented oils, varnishes and natural waxes. Our process of combining solid wood with a multiply backing creates wide floorboards of excellent stability.

Every board is checked and graded. Drying is carried out at a moderate temperature without accelerators. All our tested woods meet water resistance and quality standards. Our flooring comes ready to lay and is delivered in protective packaging.
